The idea of Pioneer Gin was born from honouring the founder's great uncle, the legendary Antarctic explorer, Tom Crean. Tom was a member of three major expeditions to Antarctica during what is known as the Heroic Age of Antarctic Exploration, including Robert Falcon Scott's 1911–13 Terra Nova Expedition.
This adventurous but exceptionally well-balanced gin is crafted from twelve botanicals including sweet orange, pink peppercorn, mountain pine and rose hip. It is full-bodied with a strong juniper backbone and also refreshing and moreish without any bitter aftertaste. We have no doubt it will become a classic!
